This means that you can rest assured that your restoration will blend with your natural teeth. We invite you to contact our office at 510-724-7474 and schedule your appointment with our dentist, Dr. Feriel El Ghaoui, if you are interested in learning more about precision partial dentures in Pinole, California.

Precision dentures is an advanced denture treatment where you can customize your denture appliance, and they can be used to replace missing teeth instead of a dental bridge. Precision partial dentures are similar to traditional partial dentures in that the appliance attaches to your natural teeth. However, instead of using a clasp to attach to your teeth, precision dentures use a precise “key and lock” system. One part of the connector attaches to your natural tooth, and the other is attached to the end of your denture. The two pieces slide together and are locked in place.

Because precision dentures use a “key and lock” connecting system, they are incredibly stable. They provide firm support while chewing and speaking; they also help distribute the force of chewing among all of your teeth instead of focusing the pressure in one area. This provides maximum comfort along your gum line and helps your denture last longer.

Unlike traditional dentures, precision dentures can be customized. Patients can work with our dentist to select the color, shape, and size of their replacement teeth. If patients have a base for their denture, they can also select a number of base adaptations to give their base a look that more accurately blends with their natural gums and teeth. We want to help you restore your missing teeth and maintain a healthy, beautiful smile! Please call or visit our office for more information.
