Our Practice

Dr. Feriel El Ghaoui has begun her dental education at the University of Dentistry in Algeria. After receiving in 1988 her dental degree, Dr. El Ghaoui moved to Paris, France to pursue her post graduate trainings.

While working, Dr. El Ghaoui obtained many superior certifications. One in Periodontics (gum disease), three in Prosthodontics (an area of dentistry that focuses on different types of dental prosthesis) as well as a degree on dental implants.

In 1999, with her family, Dr. El Ghaoui moved to the United States. She graduated from University of California Dental School. Upon graduation, she worked at La Clinica De La Rasa, a community health clinic for underserved population.

Finally, after her kids have grown, Dr. El Ghaoui tackled the challenge to open her own private practice. She found home in Pinole.

Her multiple international trainings give Dr. El Ghaoui a leading knowledge in dentistry. Even if she isn’t a prosthodontist in the US, her knowledge in prosthesis and the outcome of her work speaks for itself. The beautiful, high-end prosthetic work she does with Dan is very rewarding for both her patients and her entire dental team.

Dr. El Ghaoui is part of Contra Costa Dental Society, California Dental Society and American Dental Society. She joined the Spear Group as well as Carl Misch group.

During her career, Dr. E has completed tremendous amount of continued education. After all, she must be one of the rare dentists who can still practice in the US, Europe and even North Africa where she got her first dental degree.

Outside her work, Dr. E as she likes to be called, loves to cook, read, hike, and most importantly enjoy spending time with her two children, Alex and Camille.
